Concierge BHRT in Denver

WHAT IS BHRT?

Bioidentical hormones or BHRT are manmade hormones derived from plant estrogens that are chemically identical to your body’s hormones. Instead of synthetic or TRT therapy that your body “sees” as foreign. We use sterile compounded pellets that are placed near your love handles or your glute. These pellets dissolve slowly over 5-6 months for men and 3-4 months for women. How is our service different from others? We come to your home or office for labs, pellet placement, and follow up.

WHY USE PELLETS?

Testosterone comes in various forms and formulations, creams, intramuscular injections and pellets are the most common. Creams can be difficult to use as patients need to be cautious about the absorption of testosterone by partners. Intramuscular testosterone (TRT) requires injections every 4, 7, or 14 days, if your not a fan of needles this is a definite downside. Another common issue with TRT is peaks and troughs, most formulations raise your testosterone for 3 to 4 days and you feel great, followed by a dip until your next shot. TRT comes in various formulations enanthate, cypionate, and propionate. Each has a different half-life and distinct advantages and disadvantages. Pellets or BHRT (bioidentical hormone replacement therapy) are derived from plants, identical to human hormones. Biologically identical hormones produce the same physiologic responses in the body as endogenous hormones. BHRT pellets are placed in a simple procedure at your home or office every 4 to 6 months. The pellets slowly dissolve in your body and bring your testosterone level up and steady avoiding dips.
